Checking Plans

The First National Bank of Coleraine has savings and checking accounts that offer a variety of features. You can choose from the following:

Platinum Account: Simple interest on the daily balance. Minimum balance of $1000 required to open account. Service charge of $5.00 is incurred if average daily balance falls below minimum at any time during the statement cycle. Customer pays for check printing.

Money Market Deposit Account: Minimum balance of $2,500 required to open account. With a $2,500 balance, your money earns market interest rates, calculated with simple interest daily and paid monthly. Lower interest when balance falls below minimum. Customer pays for check printing. Service charge of $5.00 is incurred if average balance falls below minimum at any time during the statement cycle.

Corporate Account: These accounts are charged $10 during each statement cycle and receive a credit of $.10 per $100 on the lowest balance during that cycle.

Copper Account: Pay only $.15 for each debit transaction (withdrawal, check paid, automatic transfer, or payment out of this account) with no minimum balance required. Customer pays for printing checks.

Bronze Account: Write as many checks as you want for only $4.00 a month. No minimum balance required. Customer pays for check printing.

Silver Account: Free Club checks (wallet style). Duplicate checks or any other style other than Club checks are subject to charge with a credit of $8.00 toward any other style, free safe deposit box, all for just $7.50 a month. No minimum balance required.

Crystal Account: For non-profit organizations and students. No minimum balance. No per-check charges. Customer pays for printing checks.

Gold Account: Minimum balance of $300 to open account. No service fees with a monthly balance of $300. If account falls below minimum, customer pays $1.00 plus $.15 for each check written during the cycle. Customer pays for printing checks.

Diamond Account: For everyone 50 years and over. No minimum balance, no service fees. No fee money orders. Free Club checks (wallet style) customer pays $8.00 shipping and handling fee per box ordered. Duplicate checks or any other style other than Club checks are subject to charge with a credit of $8.00 toward any other style. One account per customer, consumers only.

Health Savings Account (HSA’s): Earns interest just like the money market deposit account. Pay your qualifying medical expenses with checks or debit card. No minimum balance, no service fees, customer pays for printing of checks.

24-Hour Convenience

Even if you don’t have access to our Internet Banking service, you still have access to the bank when it’s closed with the First National Bank of Coleraine’s telephone banking service. Simply call 218-245-4000 anytime, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to check your balances, inquire on deposits or other transactions, and transfer funds. The 24 hour phone bank is one more way the FNB Coleraine is working to meet your needs.

Debit Cards

FNB Coleraine also offers Debit/ATM cards to make banking even easier. Our automated teller machines are conveniently located and open 24 hours a day. To activate your card, create or change your pin, please call the activation phone number: 800-992-3808.

We monitor your card activity for fraudulent charges, so let us know when you’ll be out of town.

If your Debit Card is lost or stolen after hours please call 800-472-3272.

FNB Coleraine has partnered with Fiserv to bring you the Card Valet app with enhanced card controls and dynamic alerting capabilities, provides you with the ability to monitor and manage your FNB Coleraine debit card accounts and to receive and respond to alerts instantly through your mobile device…anywhere, anytime!

• Account Management- conduct balance inquires, transfers, transaction history, set alert preferences.
• Location Services- set geographic parameters for card use, and option to disable the use of the card if outside the defined regions. Just be aware that sometimes, the parent company location is used instead of the physical location, which could cause an unintended denial.
• Transaction Controls- set specific transaction parameters by type, and set dollar amount thresholds.
• Interactive Alerts- identify unauthorized activity as the transaction is taking place by receiving alerts with transaction details on your mobile device, ability to decline the transaction or turn off the card.

Direct Deposit

Enjoy the convenience and security of having your funds automatically deposited in your account. The First National Bank of Coleraine provides ACH services that will allow you to have your paycheck or government check automatically deposited in your account. You will never have to worry about forgetting a payment or getting to the bank on time again. Stop in and talk to us about getting your account set up for direct deposit or any of the other benefits our ACH services can provide.

E-Statements

Simply click on the “Sign up for E-Statements” link here on our website, print out the Consent and Agreement, read the form and fill out the information at the bottom of the last page. Bring, mail, or email your signed Consent and Agreement form. When we receive your Consent and Agreement, we will send you an email along with a document that describes how the sign up process works. You will need to open up this document, save or print it out and then reply back to the Bank. Once we receive your reply, we will proceed with your enrollment in E-Statements.
